Definitely GBA IMO, it had such a massive library of amazing games including a lot of SNES ports.
GBA if you include BC and SNES ports.

It also had a ton of awesome originals though.

If you exclude the SNES ports on the GBA, probably the SNES.

Honestly, it's pretty close if you include them because lots of the best games for the system weren't ever ported to GBA, like Turtles in Time, Mega Man X and Chrono Trigger and Top Gear.

Oh I'm not arguing against that, Superstar Saga is one of my favorites. I'm just saying there's a lot of ports that's all.

Library of original games? SNES. I'm still salty that the GBA didn't get an original Mario game and only a s*** Zelda game. Similarly, Square were really cheap with the GBA.

Genesis.

Both are superior to these two, of course, that's a whole other discussion.
I'd say GBA personally, but they're definitely close.

Very close but I'd say GBA

That system was amazing man
If we're going by how many games were released for each console, then GBA wins.

(Good) SNES games not on the GBA
Super Metroid
Mega Man X series
Lufia II
Secret of Mana + Seiken Densetsu 3 (JP)
Secret of Evermore
Quintet RPGs (ActRaiser, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma)
Chrono Trigger
Super Mario RPG
EarthBound
Super Castlevania IV
Demon's Crest
Super Punch-Out
Shadowrun
R-Type III
Star Fox
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (JP)
Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 (JP)
Famicom Wars seris (JP)
Super Robot Taisen 3+4 (JP)
Bahamut Lagoon (JP)

(Good) GBA games not on the SNES
Pokemon series
Metroid Fusion + Zero Mission (although there is a ZM romhack for SM)
Mega Man Battle Network + Zero series
Legacy of Gouk II + Buu's Fury
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Final Fantasy I and II: Dawn of Souls
Fire Emblem 7
Advance Wars series
Minish Cap
Castlevania CotM, HoD, AoS
Golden Sun series
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Riviera: The Promised Land
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
Fire Emblem 6
Summon Knight series
Classic NES series (Zelda, Super Mario Bros.)
Mother 3 (JP)
Super Robot Taisen series (some EN, most JP-only)
Phoenix Wright series (JP)

There are a lot of omissions and maybe some mistakes. Tell me if that is the case for any game.

Then you can add in GB and GBC games. Adding those in, the GBA would probably win. Without them... I guess I'd stick with the GBA, due to the ports of many SNES games.

Inferior ports at that, GBA couldn't handle the sound quality of SNES

sad but true. FF6 Advance had watered down sound and visual quality. The gameplay updates make up for it tho. And the definitive way to play FF6 is the GBA port + restoration mod (google it)

FF5 and 6 Advance are loads better than the SF/SNES versions. 6 Advance might not have better music but 5 does for sure

Only the GBC exclusive games are relevant, since the SNES can play GB games as well. And there weren't a whole lot of good exclusives.
