Q: "I presume there will never be an Xbox One sold without it...Would that be correct?"
A: "Correct. Xbox One is Kinect." Microsoft VP
Does that mean the one X will have the definitive Assassin's Creed version?

I disagree in that I believe it's affect will be minimal overall.

I doubt it, I feel the Pro will stagnate the industry.

With Devs having the choice to make a subpar "enhanced" version of their games nothing is stopping them from doing so.

Launching at $500, in 2017, with the Xbox One history ?

It's not going to be significant.

I doubt ubisoft executives are particularly concerned with console sales, but rather their r potential to drive innovative software.

Devs can now access new revenue streams via new powerful systems capable potentially of running all new genres of games.

Significant.

shouldn't the lowest denominator be the one that will pull the down games? So it'll either be the switch or the base Xbox One. Or are you talking about a sort of parity with regards to enhanced versions of games? That'll depend on how well the XOX sells. If it sells a lot, then there's no reason why they wouldn't put effort into it.

@pobbes

I mean the upgraded Consoles, even if the X1X sells well the Devs have no reason to do more work for little gain.

I doubt. People lost their shit when ubisoft attempted to pull back the graphics of their ps4 games due to parity. They wouldn't want that to happen again.

I hope so.

The console does not have Kinect or a WiiMote or no "innovation" at all.

It's completely insignificant and I doubt it sells even half as much as the Xbox One.

On a side note I am pretty sure Ubisoft execs are a lot more concerned with console sales than with the so-called innovation we're going to see in Assassin Creed 2017.

Hahahahahahaha! Damn i haven't laughed so hard at a post on gfaqs since the last time Thanos made a topic!

Devs don't care about sales? Go ask former Xbox golden child Cliff "dont call me Cliffy B" Bleszinski why Lawbreakers is a PS4 exclusive.

And lol further still at thinking Ubisoft of all people give a shit about "innovative software"

I am not sure that any company as stagnant as Ubisoft has any right to speak for the rest of the game industry. Let us be honest about this, the X is nothing more then a semi-upgraded X-1. It doesn't really do anything that would be considered helpful for the game industry.
