Former BioWare developer Manveer Heir has been somewhat of a controversial figure in the games industry. He’s outspoken, and has previously sparked controversy with his tweets on sensitive issues. Appearing on a recent Waypoint podcast, Heir reflected upon his time at BioWare, talking about the studio’s lack of diversity, work environment, and more. "I wasn’t the only one. There were other people, there were other white people, white men, who spoke up. There’s a lot of really good people inside of BioWare who spoke up on this stuff. This is what happens when, I think, you have a homogeneous leadership. The leadership of Mass Effect: Andromeda was all white men." Let me find my worlds smallest violin.

Yeah, companies that are often accused of obsessed over diversity by the alt right snowflakes aren't really like that, and if they do have flaws, these are overblown and taken to absurd extremes.
It reminds me of Google, which has also been accused of not promoting a positive, respectful environment for workers, which contradicts what that guy said (the one who got fired over a pro-discrimination manifesto he wrote. Soon it was exposed that apparently he hadn't even finished his degree, and that he had gotten in trouble at college over similar issues).

Andromeda being as disappointing as it was probably has less to do with the fact that the leads were all white and more to do with the fact that they didn't know what the hell they were doing.

What was it again? Andromeda changed ship 3 times? And each one had their own ideas about what to do? And the whole thing came crashing down when it was time for release? Last Guardian had crazier stuff happen and they still did fairly well despite it all. |

Don't whine when your wrong, makes you look like a fool. You hear about the google employee from some fatty on facebook You can watch him in interviews, he was actually highly educated, he never finished his masters in BIOLOGY. Now you've been corrected you will probably still whine rather than admit you where wrong and there is a problem. |
