I owe $3300 on my credit cards tho. Should I just buy a Switch and Mario with the cash or put the money towards my credit cards and see none of it? They will paid off by May as long as I keep putting 200 bucks a week on them which is 2 thirds of my check.

On a serious note, I'd say spend half of it on your credit card bill, and keep the othe rhalf and save up for a Switch. If you buy a Switch now, it's too easy to keep buying more games for it with money you don't have.

If it was a bonus on your paycheck or something, I'd say put it towards your credit cart, but it was a Christmas gift so I say gift yourself. It's not taking away from the money you're already paying it off with, and you seem to be on a steady payment plan that will be over with in a few months.
Then cut up your credit card, and start saving a hundred bucks off each paycheck for future large expenses instead. Credit cards aren't worth it, if you can afford to pay them off immediately then you can afford to pay in cash/debit card, and if you can't then you shouldn't be spending money you don't have yet. Trust me. I just finished paying off a $10000 debt, it's not a fun place to be in.

I'd say buy the Switch. That money won't make much of a dent on $3.3k anyway and if you did put it all towards your credit, you'd pay it off maybe 2-3 weeks earlier than you would have? You say most of your pay goes to the credit as is, so treat yourself while you have the chance and have some fun and just continue with your normal payments.

Get the Switch. Three weeks isn't shaving enough off the timeline of you paying off the cards to make it worth the sacrifice of your Christmas money. Sounds like you're already in a tight spot. Having the Switch will be a good distraction while you tough it out until May.

Secondly, just got back from my grandparents. I got a total of 900 bucks cash. I also have my 27th birthday coming up on the 4th so if I'm lucky I'll get another 100 to 200 bucks or so. Yeah, I can totally grab a Switch and 3 games with just 500 bucks... epicness!

Well if you can keep up with the CC payments without giving them your Christmas money then Get a Switch. Life is too short.
( This is why I never use Credit Cards, they are essentially loans you have to pay back, and that is not my lifestyle.)
