Whoever it was asked me my age, then she said she had a job, which was undressing on a camera. She wanted me to sign up on a website, but the website wanted my credit card number. No way. |

talk with one long enough, just input random letters, and they all say the same things at the end to sell it
but really, all you need to know is that the usernames are obviously microsoft generated ones, usually two words smashed together with numbers at the end (because that's how microsoft generates gamertags), 0 friends, no games played, and a bunch of followers.

I got one that had messaged "Hey you", to which I replied to only to get a "sorry" back (I had asked what their end goal was, and if it was preying on kids). Makes me wonder what sort of bot they're using since it appears to have some sort of actual logic going into it.

Ah so that's what they are? Me and my friends have been getting messages from random accounts with per-generated names, never occurred to me they were bots.

They are getting really annoying.
Reporting isn't really going to help cause they just make new email and gamertag and start again. If they are messaging thousands and thousands....it only takes a small percentage to fall for it for it to be profitable.

Seems a trend, i had 2 in the last month on PS4, than i discovered you can turn those messages of by setting the messages to from friends only. I guess that option is also on the Xbox one. Just an idea.

I had 2 conversations at the same time with 2 different bits and they were giving me almost identical. I kept calling them out and one of them responded with " your mom is a bot"
