- Hau is a very disappointing rival, and he even picks the starter weak to yours - Post game is boring; all you have is the lame ass Battle Tree and Ultra Beast quests - Trials, while not a bad idea in theory, are way too simple and easy, especially considering you can just use a Z-Move that’s string against the Totem Pokémon - The fact that random wild Pokémon can SOS is needlessly annoying - First island is nothing but handholding - Too much railroading in general - Lillie is a terribly written character - Festival Plaza is an awful way to force online play - Dumb Pokémon designs like Pallossand, Bruxish, Persian, and Dugtrio (and UB Assembly but that’s in USUM) - Version exclusive clothing - Music is meh Step up from Gen 5 and 6 though

I want a chaotic environment, back when trainers were called enemies, Pokemon died for our sins and had spirits in the tower, team rocket were evil f@$?!. I want a rival that talks shit, then backs off when you smack him hard in a fight. I want elite four members that have relentless aggression in battles. I want to feel like a real Pokemon master.
If you don't like microtransactions in full priced AAA games, vote with your wallet and don't buy those games.

No, that’s not how it works. Most Pokémon have a good amount of thought out into their backstories, but it doesn’t mean that that negates their boring designs.

Stop being so triggerhappy to throw the word "troll" around. It's not secret that Kirby is the only Nintendo franchise that hasn't gone downhill in recent years or completely died off. Pokémon in particular has been hit hard by creative bankruptcy. The people pointing this out are longtime Nintendo fans. The Nintendo Defense Force being so easy to piss off doesn't make them trolls. Super Mario Odyssey is hyped to such extremes because we haven't gotten a true Nintendo quality game in years. Don't pretend Nintendo has a perfect track record. Unless you actually want to try your hand at defending Lillie as a well written character.....

Only problem with your freely shared opinions is when you say "I'm telling people why things they like aren't as good as they think they are." You not liking something for whatever reason is all well and good but telling someone "this is why you shouldn't like it either" is bs. If someone feels they got an enjoyable experience out of it, that's ALL that matters.
