Sorry Sakurai and his apologists. It was bad enough that this game is a lazy ass port instead of giving the fans what they want which is melee online with more characters.
But I was willing to overlook this giant error in judgment had the roster been good. And it could have been good if Sakurai didn’t cave to the freaking crybaby whiny fans of the game. Most who wanted Ridley have never even played a Metroid game in their lives but wanted him for the sake of Metroid getting another rep. Well now Ridley is ruined. And the fact that Sakurai gave the babies what they want just because they cried the loudest is sickening. Between SJWs and now Nintendo fans, it’s absurd that shouting the loudest gets you your way. Screw that. I’m not buying it anymore. |

Most people who want Ridley realize how great and iconic the Metroid series is and how much it deserves a playable character besides Samus. He's been around since 1986 and has showed up regularly in the series, and also has made appearances in every Smash game prior. I really don't see the issue here or why you're so angry about this. |

I am a fan and this is exactly what I wanted. It is upsetting when you get good/are a particular fan with a character in a franchise like this and they remove them on behalf of whiney folks like you. I am sure there will be new characters. And I played the older metro is games a lot, and quite hate all of the 3d ones. Maybe the problem is you're an over opinionated hateful troll whining that he didn't get the crap he wanted. PS, the old game did have online play, and I wasn't a fan of it at all, except private matches. Calling a game bad because 1 out of 70 characters (68 without counting squirtle/ivysaur as their own characters, 65 without counting echos) is a fan requested character. Check.

I am a fan and this is exactly what I wanted. It is upsetting when you get good/are a particular fan with a character in a franchise like this and they remove them on behalf of whiney folks like you. I am sure there will be new characters. And I played the older metro is games a lot, and quite hate all of the 3d ones.
