Didsy Kong racing is so slept on i swear. I know ill get hate for this but i gotta say it. Mario kart 64 was the most hyped racing game back in my day but diddy kong racing was the better game.

Diddy Kong racing for me. Those TT trials in order to unlock TT were a PAIN.

I could never stand Diddy Kong Racing.
Rare some how found out a way to make the game a collect-a-thon. I also generally hated the overall tone and gameplay of the game. Never played CTR outside a demo, seems like a way better game. yungmiggs posted... Didsy Kong racing is so slept on i swear. I know ill get hate for this but i gotta say it. Mario kart 64 was the most hyped racing game back in my day but diddy kong racing was the better game. I've read this opinion so many times now. It's not an under hyped game at all. |

DCR was the first N64 game I ever played back in like the fourth grade. I love the game.
Love conquers everything ... except knives, swords, axes, guns, spears, fists, rocks, strong gusts of wind, and/or dangerous wild animals.

Diddy Kong Racing for co-op adventure mode and boss-like bosses instead of Crash's 1 on 1 races with normal racers.

A really tough choice actually, between all the mascot racers out there these 2 are my absolute favorites.

crash bandicoot is a low tier mascot, the platformers are second class, and crash racing is yet another game that falls well short of the games the crash franchise has tried to imitate. crash bandicoot is a bubsy level IP |

I could never stand Diddy Kong Racing. You've read that opinion a lot because the few people that preferred DKR are very vocal about it. It is definitely under hyped back in Nintendo 64's prime everyone at my school had Mario Kart 64 and I kept telling them Diddy Kong was better in every way but none of them wanted to give Diddy Kong a shot instead they made fun of me for playing what they thought was a Mario Kart rip off. Don't worry though. I eventually made them pay dearly for slighting me. |

Diddy kong racing hands down. Not that ctr is bad, love the game but duddykong has a lot of cool unlockables, levels, different karts, challenges, etc. I love it more then mario kart honestly.
