Seriously, there was a time when "major" developers would make this sort of game and people would love it. Naughty Dog made Crash Team Racing, and a lot of people still argue it's on par with or better than some of the better Mario Kart entries. I'd love to see them take a break from their cinematic shooters to make "Un-Karted" or something.

Do we get to shoot all the time or do we need a power up? IDK, but It's a fine idea, and Star Fox needs a break from the original formula, cause they clearly have run out of most of their ideas after the SNES game. Life's too short to hate! I agree, the possibilities of applying Star Fox stuff to a racing game could be really fun. It sounds crazy at first but the more I think about it the more excited I get at the possibilities.
