I'll put it simply: If you enjoyed the gameplay and exploration of Fallout 4 you WILL enjoy 76.
It has a better map than 4, better interiors and it's full of lore and stories of the people that were there. Some of them are pretty gut wrenching like The Order of Mysteries quest line and one about a kidnapped child. It's pretty fuckin' dark at times. |

Bethesda refused to work on ESO when Zenimax said they wanted an online game based around Elder Scrolls lore, which is why it wasn't developed by them and Zenimax had a team of nobodies do it |

Part of the appeal of the “no npcs” gimmick was supposed to be that there’d be markets and other social structures entirely created by players. But that sort of goes out the window when you can just buy cool loot from a store lol

It didn't sell as well as Fallout 4 and New Vegas at launch but it didn't sell bad at all. There's nothing for them to cry over
They should try being a Hitman fan and see how bad sales can really get.

I love the game. I like the element where you play a good 10-15 minutes and some random bug pops up or the game freezes. Bethesda did a real bang up job with this one.

It's not youtubers vs reddit. Its fallout fans vs fallout fans. A lot of these youtubers who are shitting on the game are fans of past fallout games. The game was so bad it has destroyed and fragmented the fanbase.
