Before you bring in ping, he is in NA and playing with NA ping of around 60 if you just watch his streams. The earlier games are versus much lower ranked players so its not a good determinant of being stuck. His is 45%. Forgot to mention that the majority of his games he is duoing with another Korean player; the adc for TS who is challenger in Korea and he is STILL stuck in d1 in NA while duoing with a KR challenger xDD. iirc NA challenger duos can get like 90% winrate until they hit masters

He's 16W, 14L over last 30 games, which is about as long as he's been playing with D2+. He's also been duoing with Valkrin on a D2 account (Challenger last 3 seasons) and Raven on a low Diamond account (multi season Challenger NACS).
So while duoing with 2 NACS players on smurfs, he's had a 53% win rate in D1. I kinda agree with TC

also last time i heard of that guy midbeast you mentioned a lot, he didnt ever make it further than d2 and dropped soon afterwards (but ya this is not about oce soloq)

Huni iirc seems to play adc quite often and oads of adcs in top lane. |

The reason he says that kr is better than NA (and that everyone says it) is that Kr solo q plays much closer to organised competitive play than NA solo q. As Faker said, both servers are about as hard to climb on, they are just different. (And this is part of the reason why Kr wins everything competitivly).

There's tons of other players from the other regions in Korean solo q though so you would assume masters+ is more competitive than NA where there's just a bunch of random and streamers taking up spots in challenger/master.
I'm pretty sure QT, Annie bot, gosu, shiphtur have multiple accounts just chilling in master. I believe even theoddone has an account in mast on which he only plays ziggs.

Kinda the same as how IWD constantly says OCE Challenger = NA Plat-Low Diamond when he's losing games, but meanwhile has 88 Wins 88 Losses since coming here on his NA Masters account, and 53% on his NA D5 account.
@twfanatic I'm sure if LS played 3000 games like hashinshin, he'd hit Masters NA. He could probably reach Challenger NA if he spammed enough games, but he's definitely nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

Neace sadly got hardstuck in like d3 kr while being a master tier na player and kr solo queue was way tougher than BA solo q It was honestly sad at times to see his KR grind stream where he gave 120% but still lost because of defeatist Koreans but it gives weight to what LS says imo

Oh yea, fair point. Hashinshin himself spends most of his time in d1/d2 this season. Just found it funny since LS probably thinks he's an infinitely better player than him (he released some vod reviews of hashinshin's play earlier this year, where he criticised (not unjustifiably) and trashtalked the hell out of him).

NA, EUW, China and Korea are all basically even and have been for a while. The way each region approaches solo queue is vastly different, though. I suppose China would theoretically have more players in Diamond/Masters considering player base, but I don't know if that's actually true.

Why do people think KR solo queue would be better than NA soloqueue? I mean the only reason why KR has a better competitive scene is because the E-sports infrastructure in KR is a lot better developed than in NA.
In KR solo queue (besides challengers where the pros would play in) should be around NA/EU level since everyone is a casual player.

Tbh ls just didn't keep up with the meta. He was pretty good last season but he didn't adapt well and doesn't understand the current meta as much as he should.
