It's just funny to me that the only place that Nintendo fanboys are putting their money where their mouths are when it comes to "we actually buy our games" are the indies. Not the non-main first parties, and certainly not AAA third-parties. Especially after complaining about the "Indiestation" for so long.

Switch is a good place for small games like this. Nintendo fans enjoy single player experiences and don't care about graphics and stories and things like that. I have bought a few games on my switch I wouldn't bother to buy on other consoles just so I would have something new to play on the thing.

At the time i was still playing first party games for the switch such as Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart. Whenever i took a break from them I played either Binding of Isaac or Wonderboy Dragons Trap/Ocean Horn. Also I own a ps4 Xbox One, and a beefy gaming rig. If switch has no games, then neither do those systems, as the aforementioned games were pretty much all I was playing.

Honestly, both Nintendo and Sony fans that jump onto this kind of "attach rate" discussion are making a mistake.
In the end of the day, most consoles sell a similar number of games per console, the discussion of "attach rates" was something Microsoft made up to distract from how the Wii was selling better then the 360 and the PS3 was the system the people who didn't buy a Wii really wanted but couldn't afford (which is why the PS3 ended up beating the 360 after it got got it's ineviteable price drop). In the end of the day, the result is always the same: Third parties who don't support systems that sell well properly are leaving money on the table.

Underpowered, lacks AAA third party games, and the ones it is getting run at half the framerate, low battery life, rocky launch with the left joycon issue, has more Wii U ports than it does original first party games, kickstand sucks and almost requires third party accessories, no way to message friends, no way to track exactly how many hours you've played a game which had been on Wii U and 3DS, the dock is an overpriced piece of plastic that just says "Ok you can overclock now, lol"
