THPS5 is almost entirely a patch. The disc only contains the tutorial.

Yep, Azuras Wrath. Most of the Dead Rising games had the content in already and you were just paying for keys. So pretty much Capcom being s***ty.

It just sucked horribly and spat in the face of everyone who played the full trilogy so they released an "Extended Cut" ending that fixed many of the problems people had with the original after most of their userbase called them out on their s***. |

Mass Effect 3 is still correct anyways because they locked Javik behind DLC, who was damn essential to have

Assassin's Creed II This one for sure. Before you play the DLC, it doesn't really feel like much is missing, but once you play it you realize they just did careful editing to make it less obvious tht they took the most important part of the gane out to resell it. Though oddly, I don't mind. It ruled anyway |

I won't count Early Access because those aren't technically "released"
Recore: There are parts of Recore that you can see but are inaccessible because there is no way to craft a tank bot chassis. You can actually collect tank pieces, but you can't craft the chassis. People found ways to glitch into those places and use infinite time glitches to do the dungeons which are otherwise not completeable, and found schematics for tank chassis but the actual option to craft the tank chassis is not available to select in the menu. The tank DLC was announced in December 2016 but we still have yet to see it. Street Fighter V:  Asura's Wrath: Entire second part of the game is DLC. Main game ends on cliffhanger. Broken Age: Only one half of the game got released. The second half was a rush job and got crapped out much later and was a huge let down because the first half of the game was awesome. all Telltale games since Jurassic Park |

FFXV I don't know if DLC actually helps it or not, but that game was definitely woefully incomplete at launch.

They had a 20 minute or so section that was chopped out and made a day one dlc for no reason. Makes it harder for Matt and Emily to have a good relationship value without it and you miss out on a couple clues and a totem.
