Oh the Switch might be my favorite system ever. It's definitely the most astounding piece of technology I've ever used, much less owned. I wish there were more previous-generation games on it, especially 3DS. I'm sure a lot of that will come if/when the VC/subscription service launches. I LOVE the portability. The online system works. It isn't great, but it works well enough. Line has been around even on the Wii U board... And Vita, 3DS, etc. There's a core group of trolls from both sides. I'd have to say Line has been the most effective, though.

Linetrix is bad at arguing, but he is absolutely correct. None of the Nintendo Defense Force excuses make any sense whatsoever. You can't argue that Apple is snatching up all the "NAND chips" so Nintendo can't use them then claim they temporarily increased production "in advance" to suddenly flood the market for Splatoon 2's release. If it was a "chip shortage" issue, Nintendo would flat out be unable to increase production. And yet..... And Nintendo themselves destroy the narrative that they are having "chip shortages". They flat out said they plan to ship 18 million units by March 2018 when they've only sold the rather low number of 4.6 million worldwide in four months. (HINT HINT.) But hey, you know what does make perfect sense? Nintendo stockpiling Switches so they can immediately ship them out when they know there's going to be a real demand for them so they can try to avoid the same mockery they endured for the entirety of Wii U's run. Wii Us on shelves and under 5 million units sold in 4 months = lolNintendoomed. Switches flying off shelves and under 5 million units sold in 4 months = hot product! Nintendo underestimated the demand! And then when Super Mario Odyssey comes out and people really are going to be scrambling to get them..... suddenly there's going to be much more stock even though they JUST ramped up production..... allegedly. It's a defensive tactic to make their investors happy while selling only slightly better than Wii U in the same timeframe. It's about protecting the already damaged Nintendo brand by covering up poor sales. (Outside of Japan, the least significant market.) Do you people know nothing about business? .....Don't answer that question, I already know. After all, I've seen plenty of the same people on the Wii U board coming up with similar excuses to try to explain why Wii U wasn't selling so well. Nothing is EVER Nintendo's fault. But why you people would even try to argue against the artificial scarcity is entirely nonsensical. The narrative makes Nintendo look smart. the point you are missing endgame is the shortage is not a permanent thing. it flattens out over time and things go back to normal. this has been going on for over a year its not like it just happened when the switch launched.

Explain the loteries and lines with 5000 people in Japan. Yeah, you read it right: Japanese people line up to take part in loteries to be able to buy a switch. Also, the Switch is STILL constrained. There are still lines happening. your logic would sort of make sense if the suply constraint had stopped, but it hasn't, even after a 100k, a 90k and a 60k week. It's obvious that Nintendo held units to sell more copies of splatoon 2 (people buying a console are more likely to buy a software that is releasing alongside it), and then there's also the fact nintendo announced that the production of Switches would increase in July and August, which is exactly what happened/is happening.
Radiant Dawn is the worst Fire Emblem game. Wind Waker is the worst Zelda game and a terrible game overall. Shadow Dragon is one of the best Fire Emblem games.

Famous for wut? 3DS rarely ever had a shortage, and that was a successful console. Wii didn't really have a shortage more than it was a raging sales craze. DS didn't have much of a significant shortage problem. We KNOW why the Switch had supply problems with several articles to prove why. Who has no evidence? people seem to think because there is a part shortage they are not allowed to make any consoles at all. so any extra systems you see were really just sitting in warehouses because they cant make anymore! your statement or questions asked how they can increase production with parts shortage. and I just answer it. they could have started with more units at launch but they were not forecasting to sell that many.

Because not a single shred of evidence has ever been presented to support it while evidence that goes against it is readily available from all kinds of sources, including official ones! Y'all point at the numbers and go, "See? This CLEARLY proves that the shortage is do to artificial scarcity and disproves literally every other possible reason!"
